    Superb

I enjoyed this characterful hotel which is in a great position by the harbour. The breakfast on the roof terrace was excellent and the staff were very friendly.

The room had a lovely view but the town is lively at night and the harbour is a noisy area. As I was in an upstairs room there were scraping noises on my ceiling when people moved the chairs on the terrace above.

    Fabulous

Lots of charm, fantastic location, great roof garden.

Not as nice as advertised: "luxurious bathroom" was about the size of a small closet.

    Superb

The best in this hotel is the sea view if you get that room. This balcony is worth not leaving the hotel at all! Breakfast was very good, so was the terasse where it is served! Nice people, very clean and tidy, no complaints.

We wanted two single beds and couldn't have that. It's a liitle expensive I guess, especially if you just want to stroll around Chania all day, go to the beach etc.

    Superb

I loved the location! Right at the Old City, with a view over the Venetian harbor both from our room and from the rooftop patio. The furnishings and decor were sweet and totally fit the locale. The entrance was from a side street away from the water, through a very well-kept courtyard. The freshly squeezed orange juice with breakfast was amazing!

Breakfasts could have some variety and choice. It was continental, and served to us without being able to choose what was wanted: boiled egg, bread rolls, cheese, ham, jam, orange juice and coffee. One day, yogurt was substituted for the egg. Fresh fruit would have been great.

    Very good

I had a room overlooking the harbour with a lovely balcony. I would say this is a place for people who like something with character and some quirks - not for those who like a 4/5 star hotel, but for those who like something a bit different and a special location. Breakfast was on the roof terrace - great setting. The breakfast itself was decent but basic. Staff very helpful and friendly (even lending me an umberella to use during my stay).

Noisy in the evening from the clubs on the harbour front, but I didn't find it stopped me sleeping (with windows closed), and worth it for the location from my perspective.

Beautiful rooms and hotel, Beautiful view, It was wonderful to have the breakfast on the terrace looking at Chania. Great location, a minute from the harbor and still peaceful. and very very hospitable staff. we mostly ate outside but the rooms have all the equipment needed for cooking. Great value for money.

    Superb

Location views and history. Great place for visiting Chania and access to bus station for days out could not be better. Staff very welcoming and breakfast on the roof terrace a perfect place to start the day.

A little noisy at night but bearable

    Very good

As long as you anticipate (and I did) a good deal of late night overflow noise from the clubs down by the harbor, you will generally enjoy your stay. If you enjoy carousing to the wee hours, you will definitely enjoy the location. Very convenient to all the Venetian harbor offerings with reasonable parking for a standard, compact eurocar. Best part was breakfast on the rooftop each morning. Great location and great variety.

    1. Had to resort to using the dish rag from the kitchnette sink as a wash rag. Bath towels and hand towels were provided, but not sure the staff understood the function of a wash rag for bathing. 2. As common with many small European accomodations, the shower is lacking in size and ease of use. I'm a small person and barely had room to bath without soaking the rest of the bathroom outside the shower.

Beautiful hotel worth staying at just to experience the building. Steps from the center of the city. Very well-priced. Incredible rooftop view and lovely breakfast included in the room.

    Hotel was perfect! No complaints.

    Fabulous

Beautiful flat roof view on the old port of Xania. The house is also very beautiful and romantic

The kitchen could have more kitchenware

    Superb

The room at Suites Pandora has a lovely decor and suits Greece perfectly. We paid extra for a view of the sea and it was worth it - at nights we would open the windows and let the warm breeze blow in. The room includes a fridge and dishes/cutlery which is useful for longer stays and Wifi works quite well, which was a pleasant surprise. The location is great and just a few steps from the harbour. The receptionist Maria is very helpful, although her English is far from fluent.

Parking at the hotel is ONLY available on the street that the hotel is on, which is quite small. We got lucky when we arrived but the next night had to spend a lot of time driving around Chania to find a spot on a street that we hoped was ok (thankfully it was!). Considering the drivers in Greece, it was a stressful experience so I wouldn't recommend you bring a car to this hotel. The only other small thing was that breakfast was a little sparse (just buns, not bread, some cheese, hard boiled egg, orange juice, coffee) and ends at 10am sharp. We arrived 10 mins late one morning and they had already packed everything up.

    Fabulous

The location in downtown Chania is perfect!! Beautiful rooftop breakfasts.

We (and our GPS) had a hard time finding the hotel. May I suggest the staff include more landmarks and or very specific kilometers to get to the hotel's front door? Even when we asked friendly Grecians, they could not point us in the right diretion.

    Fabulous

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Also the old port views from the roof balcony were fantastic. The building is very old but nicely re- innovated and our room had a lot of space. It is only 1 minute walk from the old Chania port with the restaurants and bars. Laundry shop, conveniences stores are also within a 1 minute walk from the hotel.

The bathroom was clean but quite small.

Location is perfect, overlooking the harbor. Beautiful view from the rooftop restaurant.

Noise from neighbouring late night bar, if you are a light sleeper.

    Fabulous

The roof terrace where breakfast is served is fantastic. It is open all day and in the evening so guests can take up a drink and enjoy the fabulous views of Chania. The location of the hotel is also brilliant for exploring the old part of Chania.

My parents live outside Chania so know the place pretty well but even they struggled to find the hotel - the route suggested in the booking information wasn't open due to roadworks(a common occurrence - roads are often closed in Chania). I dread to think how inexperienced travellers manage.
